On Good Friday, during the reflection on Passion Narration, an elderly priest asked the congregation, "What did keep Jesus on the Cross?" The congregation was silent. "Were th
ey nails?" the priest asked again. The silence got a momentum. The priest said, "It wasn't the nails that kept Jesus on the Cross, but His love for you. You mean so much to Jesus."
He loved them to the end (Jn 13, 1).
We mean so much to Jesus? Does Jesus mean to us anything?
